| Jon David Martin 46, formerly a Neosho resident, passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 7th. Jon was a graduate of Neosho High School. He was employed at ADT/Tyco for 16 years as a commercial security consultant in the Kansas City area. He leaves, to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 20 years Rena and his two sons Jonathon (J.T.) 12, and Justin (Little Buddy) 6 all of the home. Also surviving are his sisters Sue Rowland and husband Steve, Sally McAffrey, and Jill Petty. Brothers Bill and wife Peggy, Bob and wife Gina. He was a very special uncle to all of his nieces and nephews as well as his great nieces and nephews. Jon joins his parents Earl (Bud) and Adele Martin in a celebration of eternal life. Jon was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. His smile, fun nature and generosity will be dearly missed by anyone who knew him. The family will meet friends on Monday April 11th from 5-7pm at D.W. Newcomer's 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday April 12th at 11:00 also at Newcomer's. Family resides at 8100 Shawnee Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66212. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Jon's mother, Adele Martin. |
